Cobbler is a classic American dessert in the form of fruit (usally strawberries, cherries or berry) baked under a sweet crumble. During baking the fruit is poured into the juice, which is topped with crisp or semiprecious dough, thickens and blends. As a result, a dough is formed in which the juicy baked fruit perfectly coincides with the crunchy crumble.
